Freelance Product Photographer
Hi there,
I hope this message finds you doing well. If you’re stumbling upon this post you may be searching for a freelance product photographer, you may be a product photographer yourself, or you may be interested in the world of freelance. The reason I love keeping up with these blog posts is because it is a chance to write. It’s a chance to reflect and communicate my journey, and to give you some insight about what we do and how we do it.
When meeting new people, I often get the question—- “What type of photography do you do?” My answer is that I market myself as a Commercial Photographer. (Which is usually any type of photography for commercial application- Advertisements, Marketing, Websites, E-Commerce, Magazines, Headshots, Portraits, etc.) I photograph Products, People, & Events. Which casts a pretty wide net, and as a small business owner- I appreciate the diversity in my projects and the chance to meet new people.
What I’m sharing with you here- Is a couple examples of some recent work. Kevin Murphy, A globally recognized hair brand, had a product that they were looking to launch to the public for a limited time. Having had served KM as an event photographer, I had made mention that I was available and capable to shoot various types of photography and Videography- Headshots, Product, Interviews, etc. I got a call from a connection there who was looking for some content. Amazing- I assembled some gear, a small team, and made it happen. Here is a contact sheet and some Behind The Scenes images. Thanks for viewing! We hope to help with your next photography / video project.

Keeping things fun is a huge success while on set. As you can see we’re having a good time. Art should be that way- Playful, Exciting, and Challenging. We try to get people involved because ideas can come from everywhere. Creativity is something we all possess and being open to all ideas is welcomed. We push the bounds of whats possible, we try, we ensure we’re growing and testing our abilities. It’s been so much fun.
